UBS ARENA CAPACITY

UBS arena can comfortably accommodate 17,500 people for the New York Islanders games. The capacity varies with different events and concerts. For basketball the capacity is 18,500 and 15,000-19,000 for concerts. The seating setup for concerts can change from the common seating layout. Floor seats at the USB arena are the best options for concerts and include; Sections Floor 1, Floor 2, Floor 3, and Floor 4. If you want a closer and elevated view, consider seats on section 102, section 103, section 104, and section 105. 

Factors to consider when buying UBS arena tickets

1. For short people and kids– consider booking the floor seats. This is to ensure maximum visibility as you are closer to the stage.
2. Avoid seats behind the stage- seats behind the stage are occasionally sold. For concerts, artists will obviously perform facing the front. If you sit behind the stage you will be completely blocked from seeing the performance. 
3. Sections 102 and 103 are not created equal- this means that during any performance, people seated on the lower level side sections will have to turn their heads to get an ideal view. section 204 and section 205 are preferable, they will not give trouble.
